The Boogster goes by many names, most notably Silent Assassin. This name was dropped in 2019 with no explanation whatsoever and truthfully, I (the writer of this glorious webpage) do not remember the reason either. If I had to guess, it's because Silent Assassin is a terrible name.All you need to know is all content posted before the 5th of June goes by Silent Assassin, and (almost) all content after is under Psyboogie.Psy is a British man born 2000 and has all the sadness that those two things encompass. He has been posting videos since the 9th of April 2015 with his stunning launch video, titled
"GTA 5 online: #1 my first and worst attempt".
_{editor's note: do not watch this video.}He started streaming with his PS4 just a year later, eventually transitioning to PC around 2018. This was also around the time he finally gave in and played CS:GO for the first time, accelerating his decline into madness.In 2017 he formed a group venture with some friends, creating the YouTube channel Uninstalled. Due to various internal issues this channel fell apart within a year, and all the members eventually moved on to do other things or went back to their own personal channels.

YouTube / TwitchHaving such a long and storied history as the Boogie Woogie inevitably leads to a large back catalogue of content.Over the years he has uploaded and streamed multiple entire game playthroughs such as Bully, Dark Souls 2, and South Park: The Fractured But Whole.Yes, he does sound depressed throughout all of his content.In 2021 he streamed a short-lived Minecraft SMP. Rising tensions, an overly enforced story line, and rampant trolling tore a rift through the SMP - after just a month the whole thing was cancelled, but my god were there some great builds during that time (none of which were by Psy).In mid-2022 he took a break from streaming due to his declining mental health. It would take him 2 years to actually do anything about this, but he finally came back in 2024.He has since streamed Batman: Arkham Origins to completion (with two full edited videos by Steadman Slick) and is currently streaming an on-going Morrowind playthrough on Twitch.

- The name Psyboogie comes from a song by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.- During the Silent Assassin days one of his friends created an impersonation channel called Silent Ass, and uploaded edited versions of his videos that sentence mixed him into saying silly things. Everything related to this is long deleted.- After the Psyboogie name change he commissioned a local starving musician to write a song that he could use to market himself. After being forcibly subjected to his videos, the musician burst into tears of joy saying "okay man, I'll do it, just put the gun away". The song was called "A Song For Psy". The musician was found shot the next day. It was hypothesised that the killer was a mob of latex penguins, but no conclusive link was ever made.- In 2020 Psy did a 24 hour charity stream for Cancer Research UK that lasted approximately 12 hours.- From 2019 to 2022 Psy was a member of a CS:GO team called Irresolution. They mostly played casually but did enter a tournament, EPIC.LAN 33, in 2019. The team managed an incredible record of 6-0 (that is to say they lost 6 games and won 0).- In the past Psy frequently collaborated with Ema Pex who is way cooler and better than him in every way.
